About the client company

Our client is an established mechanical workshop focused on prototype and contract manufacturing, where quality and flexibility are at the center. The volumes vary from individual prototypes and small series to recurring production over longer periods. Customers come from several demanding industries such as the engineering industry, marine industry, and defense industry.

The company works with modern production methods and has a strong focus on efficiency, quality, and development. Production takes place in a structured environment with high demands for accuracy and delivery precision.

Your tasks

In this role, you will primarily work with surface preparation and post-processing tasks with a particular focus on blasting and deburring. You will be responsible for cleaning, preparing, and post-processing details for further processing or delivery, where accuracy and quality are crucial at every step. The work involves removing burrs, sharp edges, and irregularities, as well as ensuring that the components meet high-quality standards.

You will also work with manual processing tasks such as drilling and perform visual inspections of the details. The role also includes handling and maintaining the equipment used in the work and contributing to an organized and safe working environment. The work is done in close collaboration with others in the production team and may vary depending on the product and customer order.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is driven, engaged, and enjoys working in a practical workshop environment where the pace can vary and tasks can change from day to day. You have a natural willingness to take responsibility for your work and are eager to take initiative when you see opportunities for improvement or needs in production.

You are flexible and can easily adapt to changes, both in terms of tasks and working methods. At the same time, you work in a structured and meticulous way with quality in focus, even with repetitive tasks. You enjoy working both independently and in a team and contribute with a positive attitude and good collaboration skills.

We prefer that you have experience from a workshop or industrial work, but your attitude, drive, and willingness to develop are the most important. Experience in blasting, deburring, or similar work is an advantage, as well as a forklift license and the ability to read drawings.
